Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of courier, delivery, and man with van services by Netslee Movers ("we", "us", "our") operating in the United Kingdom. By engaging our services, you ("the Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Services" means same-day courier, business delivery, man with van, and related transportation services
- "Goods" means items entrusted to us for transportation
- "Consignment" means goods accepted for delivery under a single collection
- "Working Day" means Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays
2. Booking and Acceptance
2.1. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by Netslee Movers.
2.2. A binding contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your booking via phone, email, or in writing.
2.3. Customers must provide accurate collection and delivery addresses, contact details, and a full description of goods.
2.4. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without providing a reason.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1. Prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2. Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3.3. Payment is due upon completion of service (Within 14 business days).
3.4. We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and card payments (Coming soon).
3.5. Additional charges may apply for waiting time exceeding 15 minutes, failed deliveries due to customer error, or additional services requested on-site. Waiting time exceeding 15mins is charged at £10 per extra 15mins.
3.6. Any bookings cancelled at point of collection due to incorrect information is chargable at 50% of the quote.
4. Prohibited Items
4.1. We will not transport:
- Dangerous goods, explosives, or flammable materials
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Living animals
- Perishable goods without prior arrangement
- Cash, jewelry, precious metals, or negotiable instruments
- Items prohibited by UK law or international transport regulations
4.2. The Customer warrants that goods tendered comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
4.3. We reserve the right to inspect goods and refuse carriage of any items deemed unsuitable.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1. The Customer must ensure goods are properly packaged and suitable for transport.
5.2. Fragile items must be clearly marked and adequately protected.
5.3. The Customer must provide information best to their knowledge at the time of booking for the consitment.
5.4. A responsible person must be available at collection and delivery points.
5.5. Access to collection and delivery addresses must be suitable for our vehicles.
5.6. Parking restrictions, congestion charges, and access limitations must be disclosed in advance as extra fees may apply.
6. Our Liability
6.1. We accept liability for loss or damage to goods occurring during transit, subject to the following limits:
- Maximum liability is £10 per kilogram of gross weight or £50 per consignment, whichever is lower
- Liability for consequential loss, loss of profit, or indirect damage is excluded
6.2. Claims must be notified in writing within 7 days of delivery (or scheduled delivery date for non-delivery).
6.3. We are not liable for:
- Loss or damage arising from inadequate packaging
- Inherent defects or characteristics of goods
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- Loss or damage to prohibited items transported without our knowledge
- Acts or omissions of the Customer or third parties
6.4. Invoices are sent once a consignment has been delivered. This will include the cost of the job and any extra fees.
7. Delivery
7.1. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
7.2. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the specified timeframe.
7.3. If delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to contact the Customer.
7.4. Proof of delivery may be by signature, photograph, or other evidence of successful delivery.
7.5. Goods are deemed delivered when handed to any person at the delivery address.
7.6. Any failed deliveries out of our control will be returned to the collection address.
7.7. Any failed delivery can be stored at extra cost and a second delivery attempt will be made at 100% cost of the orignal quote.
8. Cancellations and Changes
8.1. Cancellations must be made by telephone, text or email.
8.2. Cancellation charges:
- More than 1 hour before collection: No charge
- Less than 1 hour before collection: 25% of quoted price (We may already be on route)
- After collection has commenced: 100% of quoted price
8.3. Changes to booking details may incur additional charges depending on timing and nature of change.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, strikes, terrorism, or acts of God.
10. Data Protection
10.1. We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
10.2. Customer information is used solely for the purpose of providing services and may be shared with third parties only as necessary to fulfill delivery obligations.
10.3. We retain delivery records for up to 6 years for legal and accounting purposes.
11. Complaints and Disputes
11.1. Complaints should be addressed to us in writing within 24hours of the issue arising.
11.2. We will investigate all complaints and respond within 14 working days.
11.3. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.4. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Insurance and Vehicles
12.1. All vehicles are insured in accordance with UK law for goods in transit (£10.000).
12.2. Vehicles are regularly maintained and comply with all relevant safety standards.
12.3. All drivers hold valid UK driving licenses and appropriate legal documents.
13. General Provisions
13.1. These terms constitute the entire agreement between parties and supersede all previous agreements.
13.2. No variation to these terms is valid unless agreed in writing by an authorized representative.
13.3. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
13.4. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time by posting updated terms on our website.
